Monkey Match 1.0

WGBH presents Monkey Match, the first iPhone app from Between the Lions, the renowned literacy program on PBS Kids. Monkey Match is designed to assist pre-readers in developing essential skills such as letter identification, beginning sounds, and rhyming.

1. In the "Upper- and Lowercase Letters" game, players will engage in matching uppercase letters with their corresponding lowercase counterparts. Each letter is pronounced aloud for better comprehension.
2. In the "Beginning Sounds" game, players will match pictures of words with their corresponding beginning sounds. Both the sounds of letters and the associated words are pronounced.
3. The "Rhymes" game requires players to match pictures of words that rhyme together. All the words in this game are pronounced aloud.
